The Mojito was a farmer’s drink that made its way into bars sometime between the 1850s and 1920s. During this era, the rum industry modernised Cuba when ice and charged water became available for the first time. Originating at the historic cocktail bar, La Floridita in Havana, the mojito is refreshingly tart and sweet.

Best served chilled. Simply refrigerate first, then serve. Pour into a highball glass filled with crushed or cracked ice. Garnish with fresh mint and a lime wheel.
