Maidenii is the product of a collaboration between French winemaker, Giles Lapalus, and Melbourne mixologist, Shaun Bryne. Produced at Sutton Grange Winery in Victoria, Maidenii is about old world meets new.
The team use cabernet as a base and a mix botanicals to produce a Sweet Vermouth with a bright crimson colour and soft, silky mouth feel. Wormwood, lemon myrtle, strawberry gum, river mint, sea parsley and wattle seed combine with grapefruit, nutmeg, mace, angelica root and other leaves, flowers, fruits, herbs, seeds, spices and roots.
Made specifically with the perfect Negroni in mind, Maidenii Sweet Vermouth has become a bartender favourite in great cocktail bars around the globe.
